Production Operator

We’re searching for a Production Operator

Vacancy: Kent, United Kingdom

Reporting directly to Team Leaders & Production Supervisor, the role of Production Operator is to fully support the manufacturing facility in assembling, testing and commissioning instruments.

Key Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Testing and building of electronic instruments.
  • Assembly of products as required.
  • Be able to recognise components.
  • Good soldering skills.
  • Have a good understanding, and able to take ownership, of commercial output requirements.
  • Maintain good ESD practice.
  • To train and pass on knowledge to other staff members when required.
  • Logging onto the G&H | ITL ERP system when manufacturing product in production.
  • To be able to manage time efficiently and work to tight time scales.
  • To work to company standards as written in the QA Manual and SOPs.
  • To work to company Health & Safety requirements.
  • To work to ITL workmanship standards.

In addition to the above functions and responsibilities employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.

Experience, Knowledge & Requirements

  • Experience of working in a factory environment an advantage.
  • Able to work as a team player.
  • Good communication skills is a must.
  • Instrumentation / Mechanical build experience an advantage.
  • IPC trained an advantage.
