Since 1977, ITL Group has had the pleasure of working with hundreds of companies to bring medical technologies to market that improve, enhance and in many cases save lives.

Wilj International Ltd Founded

Wilj International Ltd Founded

Integrated Technologies Ltd (then known as Wilj International Ltd) was founded.

1977

Developed Gamma Counters for Radio-immunoassays

Developed Gamma Counters for Radio-immunoassays

Produced and marketed Radioimmunoassay Instruments including the 2011 series.

1982

Partnered with Amersham International

Partnered with Amersham International

Developed the Amerlite Reader for Amersham International.

1990

Worked with Genetrak Systems

Worked with Genetrak Systems

Developed instrumentation for DNA probe-based food testing company, Genetrak Systems.

1993

Wilj becomes ITL

Wilj becomes ITL

Wilj International Limited becomes Integrated Technologies Limited.

Developed the Sanofi Diagnostics Pasteur (SDP), a cartridge-based, fully-automated microbial identification and antibiotic susceptibility testing instrument.

1995

Team with Hygiena LLC

Team with Hygiena LLC

Worked with Hygiena LLC to design and manufacture a hygiene monitoring device. 100,000 units have been sold and we still work closely with Hygiena 15 years later.

2002

Started Vision RT Project and Launched Vitl

Started Vision RT Project and Launched Vitl

Teamed with Vision RT on a new technology for radiation therapy targeting.

Launched Vitl, our own brand of laboratory product.

2005

Worked with PiezOptic

Worked with PiezOptic

Begin work with PiezOptic, which later became Vivacta, now owned by Novartis.

2007

Founded IES and Started Work with Endomag

Founded IES and Started Work with Endomag

Established IES in Shanghai, expanding our foothold in China and better supporting our customers.

Started working with pioneering university spin out, Endomag, to develop a paramagnetic particle-based detection system used to locate sentinel lymph nodes during breast cancer surgery.

2008

US Operation Launch and Management Buyout

US Operation Launch and Management Buyout

Began trading in the USA, setting up as ITL VA in Virginia.

A management buyout sees ITL become the set up you see today - with Directors Paddy Greenwood, Tom Cole and Greg Smith taking the reins.

2013

Double win at KEiBA

Double win at KEiBA

We won our first two KEiBA awards for “Best Manufacturing Business” and “Science and Technology Business of the Year”.

2014

Collaborating With Universities

Collaborating With Universities

ITL begins sponsoring and mentoring two PhD students at University College London to develop two new pioneering medical devices – a wearable heart monitor and a nasal blockage analyser.

Wins two more KEiBAs for “Best Manufacturing Business” and “Large Business of the Year”.

Tom Cole featured as an industry role model in The Manufacturer’s top 100 report.

Celebrating 40 years in the industry with a refreshed global brand and new website plus a celebration event for staff.
