Zhejiang International Health Summit

Our colleagues at Integrated Electronic Systems (IES) in Shanghai visited the International Health Summit in the Zhejiang Province, China earlier this month.

The summit, held from 7th-8th December, was staged by the government, who are planning to invest heavily in the medical sector over the next few years. This is part of a wider initiative to invest in the nation’s health and improve the medical service.

At the summit, businesses came together from all over the globe to hear the government’s proposals and join in discussions about the future of MedTech. Key topics discussed at the summit included the role of big data in healthcare and pioneering medical equipment.

Johnson Zhou, General Manager at IES said:

“The summit brought together the leaders in healthcare and medical device innovation. We met some outstanding companies that specialise in diagnostic reagents and medical device manufacturing; they too have been working to improve the diagnostic industry.”

He added:

“It was great to be part of the summit and contribute to the wider discussion of healthcare innovation.

IES was established in 2008 and is part of the ITL Group. Providing ISO13485 accredited manufacturing facilities and assistance with regulatory submission to the CFDA, ITL China offer our clients a soft landing in the increasingly lucrative Chinese market.
