Medical Device Product Development Process

The ITL Group Product Development Life-cycle is an overview of the complete service that we provide from conceptualisation right through to aftersales servicing and support.

Designed in line with our ISO 13485 and FDA FMP quality management system, our Product Development Life-cycle encompasses all of the services that we offer.

Our projects vary depending on the needs of our customers with some chosing to work with us throughout the entire development process and others using our expertise for smaller elements of the life-cycle.

As an example, we took the Endomag Sentimag lymph node detection system from a university developed concept to a fully functioning, regulatory-approved and commercially successful product (read the case study here).

At the other end of the spectrum, we helped gas specialists Bedfont Scientific with some production engineering and manufacture of a small number of pre-production units before transfer to full manufacture (read the case study).
