ITL attend record-breaking 69th AACC Annual Scientific Meeting in San Diego

Last week, ITL Group were among the 789 exhibitors in attendance at the 69th AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical expo in San Diego, California.

Held between July 30th- August 3rd, the 69th AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo attracted a record-breaking 21,300 visitors, 789 exhibitors and covering 246,000 feet – making it the largest show floor in its history.

The exhibition featured ground-breaking advancements in laboratory medicine, including molecular diagnostics, mass spectrometry, automation and point-of care diagnostics.

With the fantastic summer climate of San Diego to enjoy after hours, the team were ready for a great show, and were not disappointed by the breadth of technologies on display, and those that were discussed with existing and potential new clients on the booth.

Point of care diagnostics were being showcased throughout the event, with many companies from around the world showing off the latest and greatest in rapid, accurate testing platforms.

The show itself was well attended, with the ITL booth at times being filled to capacity with visitors and indeed more waiting to speak to a member of the team.

Tom Ackrill, ITL Business Development Manager who attended the show alongside the team from ITL Virginia said,

“AACC was a fantastic exhibition – it was great to meet up with existing and previous clients, as well as be able to walk around and see some of the most modern, cutting edge medical technologies on the market. The booth was busy every single day without fail, and I think we’ve come away with some great new business leads to explore.”

From ITL, we would like to thank all visitors who stopped by our booth. We hope to see you next year at #2018AACC.
